Tan CAT found last year in Trafford, Alabama

Did you loose your tan cat last summer? We saw a cat in our area the beginning of summer xxxx, thought it belonged to a neighbor. Over the months saw it on our hill laying in the bushes. Towards the end of summer we noticed how thin the poor cat was looking. We started to feed the cat, however it was so scared it never came near. Built a house for the winter and continued to feed. Since it never would come near us thought it was wild. Last month the cat came up to us for pets, still scared of everything. Since it is just so sweet and gentle we now feel that it must be a lost cat that wants to be with it's family. Please if anyone knows of anyone that was looking for a tan cat last spring/summer let them know we may have their poor thing.
